"Pair/Group Activities" ~ This document contains two individual activities. The paired activity allows two students to act as marriage counselors to Gabriel and Gretta, analyzing their relationship and character development from a new perspective. The group activity allows multiple students to write editorials for a Dublin newspaper about the party attended by the characters. Each student chooses an angle to analyze the party from which corresponds to a particular literary criticism. This group can contain up to four students. A teacher could do both activities or allow the students to choose which and come up with their own groups.
